Charge with confidence.
Level 3: DC Fast Charging: Under ideal conditions, plug in to charge from 10% to 80% in around 30 minutes at a compatible public charging station.
Level 2: 240-Volt: The 11-kW onboard AC charger allows you to take advantage of its Level 2 charging capability to charge your vehicle from 10% to 100% in around seven hours. So plug in at home or at a public station, optimizing your downtime by charging throughout your day or by easily getting a full charge overnight.
Level 1: 120-Volt: A great pick for drivers with short commutes. Simply use a common household 3-prong outlet and the included dual-voltage charging cable to top off your charge when you’re not on the go.

All-Wheel Drive With X-MODE
Whether helping you navigate through a downpour or hug the curves of a winding road, bZ’s available AWD capability gives you confidence to stay the course. And with the push of a button, X-MODE maximizes bZ’s AWD potential by modulating the brakes and adjusting the power delivery in adverse conditions.
e-TNGA Platform
Made specifically for Toyota electric vehicles, the e-TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform structure allows for more space that you can feel in the cabin and provides a solid foundation for outstanding driving performance, ride comfort and stability for the road ahead.
Advanced Electric Motors
bZ takes advantage of an electric powertrain by delivering almost instantaneous torque to a drive that comes naturally. Front-wheel-drive models use one electric motor to produce up to 221 hp, while all-wheel-drive models harness two electric motors for a net combined 338 hp.
Adjustable Regenerative Braking
The unique driving experience of bZ comes from the way it harnesses and delivers electric power. When you’re not on the accelerator, regenerative braking will recapture lost energy while the vehicle is coasting and help slow you down. The paddle shifters on bZ allow you to adjust the amount of regenerative braking to dial in your drive.

Faster Level 2 Charging
Whether you’re charging up in between stops or for the full day, bZ's enhanced 11-kW onboard charger improves its Level 2 charging capability with faster charging times under ideal conditions.
NACS Charging Port
bZ is equipped with a North American Charging System (NACS) charging port and includes separate CCS1 and J1772 adapters that expand your charging options. With access to a growing network of public chargers, including the Tesla Supercharger network, you can maximize your electric adventures.
DC Fast Charging
Plug & Charge capability makes charging at public stations as easy as plugging in your smartphone. The Toyota app can be used to register for this service, as well as help locate a supported charger. When the vehicle is plugged in under ideal conditions, DC Fast Charging can charge bZ from 10% to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. Plug & Charge requires an active Remote Connect trial or subscription. 4G network dependent.
Toyota Dual-Voltage Charging Cable
With bZ’s included portable dual-voltage charging cable, you can take advantage of Level 2 charging capabilities at home without needing additional charging hardware. So whether you’re plugging in for a few hours or charging overnight, make the most of bZ's all-electric powertrain.
Charge Scheduling
Charge smarter. Optimize your bZ charging by scheduling charging start and stop times during off-peak hours through the Toyota app or touchscreen display, potentially saving money and energy.

Advanced Park

Two Qi Wireless Chargers and Four USB-C Ports
Ditch the cables with the standard Qi wireless charger. Simply place your Qi-compatible device in the center console to wirelessly charge up while on the go. And for more versatility and added convenience, bZ comes with four USB-C ports, so you can connect to and power up a variety of devices.
Traffic Jam Assist
This available feature helps provide driver-supervised control of the vehicle at speeds under 25 mph on limited-access highways. Drive Connect trial or subscription required. 4G network dependent. Simulation shown.
Rain-Sensing Wipers
bZ’s rain-sensing wipers help keep your line of sight clear by activating when rain is detected on the windshield, and adjust their speed according to how much rain is falling.
