Grand Highlander’s available Panoramic View Monitor (PVM) helps you check your surroundings for hazards. It uses four cameras to display a panoramic view on the touchscreen display. When you’re parked and using the Moving View setting, it creates a virtual view from above to give you a bigger picture of what’s around your Grand Highlander.
Connected to a camera in the rear, Grand Highlander’s available digital rearview mirror with HomeLink® casts a clear, wide view of what’s behind you. You can zoom in, zoom out, and adjust the mirror to give you a better perspective. And at night, the camera brightens dark scenes and reduces glare from headlights of vehicles following you.
The standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) is designed to warn you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Grand Highlander’s blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in reverse, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.
